Reinventing a 40-year-old brand and driving CAPCLO in Canada

We reimagined CAPCLO's brand (name, visual identity, and digital presence) and are now supporting the company’s positioning in Canada within the media, on LinkedIn, and on the ground with press coverage that already carries its voice, from Saguenay all the way to Quebec's major media outlets.

Reinventing a 40-year-old brand and driving CAPCLO in Canada

Forty years of expertise, a new continent

For over 40 years, CAPCLO has been perfecting a patented base-mounted fencing system, proven across over 45,000 km of infrastructure in Europe. Building on this expertise developed in France, the company launched its expansion into North America; however, its identity no longer matched its ambition, nor this new chapter. We helped in guiding the brand’s transformation, all the way through to its positioning in the media.

A brand worthy of its expertise

We began by rebranding the company and building its new identity, transforming its name, logo, colour palette, and typography. This work gave rise to a coherent, confident image, carried by a clear promise: “Lasting protection. Rapid deployment. Zero concrete.” A purpose that sums up CAPCLO's mission: protecting people, securing infrastructure, and preserving the environment.

A presence on both sides of the Atlantic

Our team then equipped the brand with the tools required to thrive on both sides of the Atlantic. A website was designed to grow with CAPCLO in France as well as in Canada, followed by the creation of its LinkedIn page, which serves as the company's first social showcase and the anchor point for its voice.

A notable arrival in Saguenay

We orchestrated an initial press relations campaign to announce CAPCLO's arrival in Quebec. The company's establishment in Saguenay was covered by Informe Affaires and Le Réveil, while Le Quotidien explained how a French-designed fence withstood winter in the Laurentides Wildlife Reserve, a notable debut that placed the brand on the regional media map within its first few months.

From regional story to advocating for a societal issue

We took this messaging to the next level by placing an op-ed, signed by Pierre Coquatrix, founder of CAPCLO, in La Presse’s Dialogue section. Under the title “How many deaths will it take before we make our roads safe?”, the piece connects road safety and the prevention of collisions with large wildlife to the company's expertise, drawing on the Route 175 pilot project. By adding the founder's voice to a societal issue, CAPCLO moved from a news story about its regional establishment to a credible voice within Quebec's public debate.
