Elevating Kollide's Technology in Professional Sports

KOLLIDE, a Montreal-based company, develops 3D-printed matrices engineered to better absorb impact energy. These matrices are then inserted inside the protective helmets worn by professional athletes. KOLLIDE's solution is now used by some NFL (National Football League) teams due to its superior protection against concussions.

First Steps in the NFL

In 2021, our team handled press operations when KOLLIDE was the recipient of a prestigious grant awarded by the NFL in recognition of its solution's potential. Our initiatives combined press release distribution and coordinated interviews to position the company at the forefront of sports innovation. Additional media activations followed in 2023, when GLADIATOR helmets were introduced within select NFL teams.

Demonstrations and Education

We also organized live demonstrations to which sports and science media were invited, to better explain the technology and approach behind the protective helmets developed by KOLLIDE. In addition to company leaders, professional players were also present and testified to the helmet's effectiveness and lightweight design.

Heading Into New Disciplines

Beyond football, we supported KOLLIDE through strategic media initiatives as the company prepared to expand into other professional and high-level sports disciplines where head and body protection remain critical performance and safety factors.

Preparing Your Spokespeople Before the Need Arises

Spokesperson training is about preparing the people who represent your organization to communicate key messages clearly, accurately, and effectively within the time available. This preparation should take place before the need arises, because once it does, there may no longer be enough time to prepare properly. Here is why spokesperson training matters, how it creates value beyond crisis situations, and how to assess whether your spokespeople are truly ready to represent your organization.
